What does super unleaded cost over ordinary petrol?
Both prices come from the same forecourt on the same file, so the difference is the one number here nobody has to trust us about: it is the retailer's own two figures, subtracted.

Has it always been this?
The median premium at every reading the archive holds, back to . 18 of these 131 points come from the weekly backfill, whose prices reach us rounded to the whole penny — so a point there is worth about a penny either way, and a change of less than that between a backfilled point and a collected one is our two sources disagreeing rather than the market moving.

52 forecourts published a super unleaded price below their own Petrol E10. Both figures are theirs and both are printed here. We do not know which is wrong, and this page does not guess — the spread runs from -162.9p to 102.2p and every one of those is a published pair.
What this does not say
1,741 forecourts in the file published a Petrol E10 price and no super unleaded one. That is not evidence they do not sell it. This site reports what was published to the scheme; a forecourt can sell a grade and publish no price for it, and nothing here can tell the two apart.
