Find a forecourt
A postcode takes you to the forecourts near its district. A name or a brand takes you to the record. Nothing here is a redirect — where more than one thing matches, all of them are listed, because we cannot know which you meant.
What this searches, and what it does not
- A postcode finds its district, not your street. TN24 9QL and TN24 8ZZ get the same answer: distance is measured from the middle of the forecourts in that outward code.
- Everything that matches is listed. 4 separate towns here are called Newport, and we cannot know which you meant. Only a postcode district takes you straight to a page, because it is the one query with a single answer.
- Town names come from the retailers. 2,401 of the 2,419 districts name a town, copied from what each retailer typed beside its own address. Every result shows its district code, so you can see where a match really is.
- Brands must match exactly. There is one Shell, and a near-miss would invent a retailer. The casing is ours — COSTCO WHOLESALE is title-cased to Costco Wholesale — but no spelling is corrected.
- Closed and silent forecourts still appear. A station that published no price is still a station; it sorts last rather than vanishing.
Some forecourts have no map pin and a few records are left out altogether. Every one is counted and explained under what we leave out.
