How to cite, and what to include
Please include the reading and the sample size — without them it is not the figure we published. The sample is wide, not long: most of the market across 228 readings, not any brand across a season. Charts may be republished unchanged, with credit, including in print.

Every station, four grades, one CSV — 8,255 rows, the reading of 21 September 2026 18:00 UK time. One row per station in the archive: name, brand, postcode, town, whether the file still lists it, and the four grades with the timestamp each price was published under. A grade a forecourt has not published is empty, not zero. The reading is a column as well as the filename, so a copy that has been forwarded still says which one it is.
No coordinates. The source file carries no licence statement of its own — only an Open Government Licence footer on the website around it — and the unsettled case is bulk redistribution of geodata. Nothing else in the file is affected, and none of it is new: it is what the station pages already publish, one forecourt at a time.
The URL is stable; the file is not. It is replaced at each reading and no past reading is kept at a URL of its own, so cite the reading in the file rather than the day you fetched it. There are still no pre-rendered chart downloads. This page previously offered three and none of them existed, so they have gone rather than stayed as links to nothing.
